The Party Booth – our Eco-Friendly Shop

Did you know that we have eco-friendly partyware here in our shop in Overton?  We have paper plates and cups, paper decorations and foil banners that can be used again and again, in fact we have lots of items here that are either eco friendly or are reusable again and again….

Our Copper frame is recycled from a bathroom installation, cleverly designed to stand on its own and display some of our super balloon designs.  We have two of these frames and they have been out on over 200 installations now.

The shimmer walls (just like on Strictly Come Dancing) have been a huge hit.  We have 5 different colours to choose from and these have been out on over 150 installations! It’s fantastic to be able to reuse them again and again just with a touch of TLC needed to keep them looking all sparkly.

We have many decorations that we are able reinvent and use again from chair sashes to table decorations – each time they are hired they look different and make your party space that extra bit special!  Our dried flower arrangements look stunning in a rustic vibe party.

Our vintage tea sets are a great hit in the summertime, transforming an area into a tearoom is a fabulous way to celebrate many occasions such as baby showers, birthdays, anniversaries and celebrations.

We are proud to be members of the Terracycle Programme where you can recycle your foil balloons, banners and packaging – please do pop by with your items for recycling.  We are also proud to be a part of “The Overton Bag” which is a scheme to help reduce single use plastic.

Our shelves are packed with the highest quality latex balloons.  These are 100% natural and biodegradable.  We will always supply a weight if inflated with helium and we do not promote the release of helium latex balloons as they can harm animals just like any other discarded waste can.  Please dispose of latex with your general rubbish.

The helium that we purchase is industrial balloon gas.  This has been recycled from scientific and medical instruments that use pure helium for its cooling properties.  Their equipment is filled with helium and any that escapes during filling is captured and bottled into canisters for us to enjoy as balloon gas – win, win!

We use very little electricity in our shop, just some lights for you to see what’s on the shelf but other than that we don’t have heating on (even in winter – you’ll see us in our thermals….).
